Getting Started

  1. Install FormFlow from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Open any Google Form and go to Add-ons → FormFlow → Configure Approval Flow.
  3. Add approver emails and enable the workflow
  4. Every new form submission will now trigger the approval process

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why didn't my approver receive an email?

A: Check that the approver email address is correct and that the email hasn't gone to spam. Google Apps Script has daily email sending limits - if you've sent many emails today, the notification may be delayed.

Q: Can I have multiple approvers at the same level?

A: Yes! On Pro and Team plans, you can add multiple approvers per level. You can also choose to require all approvers to agree before advancing.

Q: Where is my data stored?

A: All data stays within your Google Workspace. Configuration is stored in Google Apps Script properties, and approval records are in your Google Sheets. Nothing is sent to external servers.

Q: How do I uninstall FormFlow?

A: Open your Google Form, go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, find FormFlow, and click Remove.
