1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using DocForge ("the Add-on"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Add-on.

2. Description of Service

DocForge is a Google Sheets add-on that merges spreadsheet data into Google Docs and Google Slides templates to generate personalized documents.

3. Plans and Usage Limits

• Free Plan: 20 merges per month. Includes Google Docs template support and PDF export.
• Pro Plan: Unlimited merges, 50 AI-powered template creation calls per month, email delivery of merged documents, Google Slides template support, and scheduled/triggered merges.

Usage limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.

4. AI Feature and OpenAI Integration

The AI-powered template creation feature requires you to provide your own OpenAI API key. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own OpenAI API key.
• You are responsible for any costs incurred through OpenAI's API usage.
• Your use of OpenAI's services is subject to OpenAI's own terms of service and usage policies.
• DocForge is not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content of your templates and merged documents.
• You must comply with all applicable laws when using the Add-on, including email and privacy regulations.
• You must not use the Add-on for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your data, templates, and merged documents. DocForge retains all rights to the Add-on software and its associated code.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

DocForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Add-on.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocForge and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Add-on.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
