1. What FormGuard does

FormGuard is a Google Forms add-on that helps owners manage response limits, schedules, notifications, and answer availability from inside the form editor.

2. Data we access

FormGuard accesses only the data needed to configure and operate the controls you enable:

• Google Forms data for the active form, including form settings, items, response counts, and add-on configuration context.
• Email address data when the add-on needs to send owner notifications or reminders that you configure.

3. Data storage

Configuration settings are stored with Google's built-in Apps Script storage linked to the form and your Google account. FormGuard does not run an external database or third-party analytics platform for this workflow data.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or disclose form configuration data or personal data to third parties. The add-on operates inside the Google services already connected to your form workflow.

5. Data retention

Settings remain available while the add-on is active on the form. Removing the add-on or changing the configuration stops the workflow from using those saved settings.

6. Security

FormGuard relies on Google's infrastructure for authentication, storage, and execution. The add-on does not ask you to move form data into a separate non-Google storage system.

We may update this policy over time. Material changes will appear on this page with a new last-updated date.
