FormMerge Pro is a Google Sheets add-on that sends personalized emails automatically when Google Forms responses are submitted. It uses merge tags from column headers to customize email subject and body for each recipient.
FormMerge Pro requests the following permissions to function:
spreadsheets) — We read form response data from the linked spreadsheet to populate merge tags in email templates. We also write a status column to track which rows have been emailed.script.send_mail) — We use Google Apps Script's MailApp service to send personalized emails. FormMerge Pro does not access your Gmail inbox, read existing emails, or use the Gmail API.script.external_request) — Used for license validation only.userinfo.email) — We access your email address to identify your account and use as the sender address for outgoing emails.script.container.ui) — Used to display the add-on sidebar and configuration dialogs within Google Sheets.FormMerge Pro accesses email addresses from your spreadsheet in order to send personalized emails. This data is used solely for the purpose of sending emails and is not stored externally. All data remains in your Google Sheets.
All user settings (such as email templates, header/footer customizations, and usage counters) are stored exclusively in Google Apps Script's Properties Service. This data resides within Google's infrastructure, tied to your Google account.
We do not operate any external servers or databases. No spreadsheet data, email addresses, or email content is ever transmitted to or stored on third-party servers.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. Your spreadsheet data and personal information remain within the Google ecosystem at all times.
Settings are retained in Google Properties Service for as long as the add-on is installed. Uninstalling the add-on removes all stored settings. We do not retain any data after uninstallation.
FormMerge Pro runs entirely within Google's Apps Script platform, inheriting Google's security infrastructure. We do not handle authentication or store credentials independently.
