What FormRanger Pro Does

FormRanger Pro is a Google Forms add-on that populates form question choices (dropdowns, multiple choice, checkboxes, grids) from Google Sheets data. It keeps your form choices in sync with your spreadsheet automatically.

Data We Access

FormRanger Pro requests the following permissions to function:

• Form structure (forms.addons, forms.currentonly) — We read and update the question choices in the current Google Form. We do not access form responses or other forms.
• Spreadsheet data (spreadsheets) — We read column data from the linked Google Sheets spreadsheet to populate form choices. We do not modify spreadsheet data.
• External requests (script.external_request) — Used for license validation only.
• User email (userinfo.email) — We access your email address to identify your account for license and usage tracking.
• Container UI (script.container.ui) — Used to display the add-on sidebar and configuration dialogs within Google Forms.

Data We Collect

None. All data stays in your Google account. FormRanger Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any spreadsheet data, form data, or personal information to external servers.

Data Storage

All user settings (such as question-to-column mappings, update schedules, and usage counters) are stored exclusively in Google Apps Script's Properties Service. This data resides within Google's infrastructure, tied to your Google account.

We do not operate any external servers or databases. No form data, spreadsheet data, or user information is ever transmitted to or stored on third-party servers.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. Your data remains within the Google ecosystem at all times.

Data Retention

Settings are retained in Google Properties Service for as long as the add-on is installed. Uninstalling the add-on removes all stored settings. We do not retain any data after uninstallation.

Security

FormRanger Pro runs entirely within Google's Apps Script platform, inheriting Google's security infrastructure. We do not handle authentication or store credentials independently.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
