Why FormMerge asks for Google permissions

FormMerge runs inside Google Sheets and sends personalized operational emails from the rows and templates you configure.

Permission mapping

spreadsheets.currentonly	Lets FormMerge work with the spreadsheet you open and authorize.
drive.file	Lets it work with files created or opened through the add-on flow where needed.
script.send_mail	Lets it send test and batch emails from the configured rows.
userinfo.email	Lets it identify the installing account for sender context, test sends, and support context.
script.scriptapp	Lets it manage triggers used for configured email merge workflows.
script.container.ui	Lets it display the sidebar inside Google Sheets.

It is not CRM, newsletter, cold email, or marketing automation software.
It does not sell sheet data.
You should use it only for permission-based operational email and respect Gmail quotas and anti-spam rules.

You can remove FormMerge from Google Workspace Marketplace's Manage Apps page. Disable any active email workflow before uninstalling when possible.
