Quick start

Get running fast

  1. Open the Google Form in edit mode and launch FormNotifier.
  2. Choose whether to notify the form owner, extra recipients, respondents, or all three.
  3. Customize the subject line and body, then run Preflight.
  4. Save the setup and send a test notification before going live.

Permissions and reviewer notes

  • Google Forms access to read field labels and responses for message rendering.
  • Mail access to send notifications and respondent confirmations.
  • Container UI access for the Forms editor sidebar only.

Common questions

Can I send only selected fields in the email?

Yes. Turn off Include all form fields and choose the exact fields you want to render.

How do respondent confirmations find the email address?

FormNotifier uses collected email first, then an explicit email field if you choose one.

Where can I inspect the last send result?

The sidebar keeps the latest notification report visible so you can troubleshoot quickly.
