Quick start

First-run test path

  1. Use a copied or internal Google Form, not the live production form.
  2. Select the response spreadsheet linked to that form.
  3. Add one internal approver and save the configuration.
  4. Run Preflight and resolve any warning before launch.
  5. Submit one test response, confirm the approval email and decision link, then allow approximately one minute and refresh the linked Sheet.

Common questions

Is this for complex enterprise workflows?

No. It is for lightweight Forms-to-Sheets approval flows.

What should I test?

Check that Preflight passes, the approval email arrives, the approve/reject link works, and the linked Google Sheet status updates. External-owner decisions can take approximately one minute to appear; refresh the Sheet before treating the write-back as failed.

What does “Requested entity was not found” mean?

Earlier FormFlow versions could run the approval page under an identity that could not read an externally owned response Sheet. Version 73 routes the authenticated decision back through the form owner’s permissions. Reopen FormFlow, save the configuration once, submit a new test response, then allow approximately one minute and refresh the Sheet.

What if reviewers do not get emails?

Check reviewer addresses, Gmail limits, and spam folders.
